Safety Recalls vs. Vehicle Campaigns

A safety recall is issued when a factory defect negatively impacts your vehicle's ability to operate safely or meet federal safety guidelines. You can always come to an authorized dealership like Jones Chrysler Dodge Jeep to have safety recalls serviced at no charge. This is true even if the vehicle is no longer under warranty and if you are not the original owner: your safety is the most important thing. Vehicle campaigns are similar to safety recalls, but they do not affect your safety directly. These may be recalls related to emissions, or they may be preventative customer satisfaction notifications (CSN). Like safety recalls, vehicle campaigns will cost you nothing -- even if you're not the original owner or if the vehicle is out of warranty. If you have had service performed to correct an issue that is later named in a safety recall or a vehicle campaign, you may be eligible for reimbursement.
